Local author, Bruce A. Raisch, will have a pair of book signings with the Borders book chain. This is Mr. Raisch’s St. Louis retail debut. The books are Ghost Towns of Wyoming and Ghost Towns and Other Historical Sites of the Black Hills.
These are books about abandoned western towns as well as being travel and adventure logs. If you get stuck in the snow in late June in the Savage Wilderness Area of the Medicine Bow Mountains, it is not a problem, it is a photo opp. on page 22 in the first book. You can follow Bruce from the comfort of your living room couch. These are the first 2 books in a series of 10, with Ghost Towns of Idaho coming out in 2008.
Bruce Raisch is a life-long St. Louis area resident and member of the St. Louis Writers Guild. Raisch is a ghost town hunter, historian, photographer and outdoor adventurer. He is also a 20 year Veteran of the Missouri Army National Guard. As such, he has dedicated both books to other family members who were also Veterans.
The book signings are on Saturday, March 3rd at 10990 Sunset Hills Plaza and on Sunday, March 4th at 1519 South Brentwood from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

GHOST TOWN HUNTER GOES LIVE ON THE INTERNET
Hello Everyone!
Here’s living proof that when I said in early April, “I shall return”, that it was not an empty or idle threat.
After eleven states, over two-dozen book signings, four months and 14,000 miles, I have returned to, what many of you so sadly refer to as “the real world”. My condolences… I am taking joy with knowing my return has probably caused someone to lose an office pool bet. No dangerous wildlife encounters unless you include my stay in Cody, Wyoming while the Hells Angels held their World Wide Rally there.
There are lots of photos to share with all from my first book tour. Another book party at Ari's Restaurant is being planned. Everybody had a great time there at the April book premier.
Ari has already happily said YES to opening the doors to his fine place to us again. Details about the party will be forth coming in the very near future.
If anyone would be interested in hosting a book party, please let me know, I would be happy to set something up. Speaking at your event, will be no problem, matching schedules might.
Hope I have provided a little fun and adventure to all my friends.
Best Wishes and Good Health
Bruce A. Raisch
